I am a watercolor illustrator and writer creating sweet, charming stories brought to life through a soft, gentle color palette. My work is inspired by the warmth and nostalgia of classic, family centered picture books.

My career has spanned roles as a commerical artist and and as an art teacher, where I have had the privilege of supporing students with special needs. These experiences have shaped the way I tell stories grounding them in empathy, patience, and understanding.

As an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, 12 x 12 Picture Book Challenge, and the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators, I continue to grow and connect within the children's book publishing community.

When I am not painting or writing, I'm usually found in the company of my two sweet puppies, Ollie and Mitsy. I also cherish time with my husband, children, and grandchildren.
